What is your typical process for working with a new client?
To respect your time, I like to receive your latest, updated resume as a Word document. I then can critique it and email more questions to fill in the gaps. Likely, will want to speak with you before finalized to make sure that you're pleased.
What education or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Professional Resume Writer by the Professional Association of Resume Writers. I have taught marketing courses at colleges for 14 years and have made resume writing a part of every course. As a marketing executive, I have hired dozens of people, and reviewed thousands of resumes.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service?
Pricing depends on the services needed. Please see payment info on website: BestOfYouResumes.com
How did you get started doing this type of work?
After reviewing so many resumes in my management jobs to hire the best people, I started teaching my college students how to improve theirs. I got more experience from friends & family that needed help, and eventually, referrals and requests from people I didn't know.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All ages and levels. It's never too soon or too late to have a resume, since it's a working document that needs to be updated with new accomplishments, and tweaked to each job for which you're applying.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Most people are too close to their own experiences and resume to see what's missing. What YOU want to say about yourself and what the EMPLOYER is looking for, is usually different. My experience & objectivity will help to present the Best Of You. I was able to help one person get an internship, and then later, a new job. Was glad that he came to me twice for assistance!
What advice would you give a client looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You get what you pay for. Don't save a few dollars now, when the more experienced person may help you land a job that pays thousands of dollars more! Find someone that you're comfortable working with. Honest, responsive communications make for a good fit and a successful partnership.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
1) Timing--How soon do I need the final resume delivered?
2) Have I updated my current resume?
3) What else do I need--cover letter, interview prep, career advice, coaching?
4) Budget--How much do I want to spend?

Yours will vary based on experience and what information you already have, but for my own use, I mark up the resume provided, and start to rebuild it. What you choose to include may be important to you, but not to the employer. We can be objective to know the difference.
